Paul, reply to: "What will you do now with your Intel shares?"

What will I do? Nothing.

I would have substantial cap gains taxes to pay so it makes no sense to sell a well-managed company with excellent future prospects. I have sold some "losers" but INTC isn't likely to be among them in the foreseeable future. Good management lets one rest. If, for its own reasons, the market takes INTC down, I will likely buy more.

As one of those who once called you and Intel names, I have learned my lesson. Owning the "leaders in their field" is a good place to be (that from a guy who once owned $60K in CYRIX shares because of their supposed "possibilities").

Gotta tell ya .. on Friday ... when INTC created its own "wave", Intel represented well under 10% of my portfolio but I was up almost 6% overall. I have applied the same thought process to creating a rebalanced portfolio and it works!

At one time, I thought my EE career and degree in Finance were worth something until you shot me down for the nth time. I owe a lot of that to your snide and nasty remarks telling me to "hold your winners, sell your losers ... and never underestimate Intel".

Thanks again for your most unpleasant lessons in how to make money. My advice to others is to cut through your chase and read the brilliance.

Craig
