Did he really say it will take decades? That is hilarious. I agree that it won't happen this year or maybe not even next year, but has this guy never heard of Bluetooth, for instance? Within 5 years, I think a lot of people will have at least one broadband connection coming into the house, and will be using electric outlets, phone lines, coax and/or wireless to make a home network that reaches from the kitchen to the living room to the bedroom and more. I don't know how big that "lot" will be, but it will certainly be big enough to to drive significant profits fo companies in the industry. This sounds like a "television is just a fad" kind of prediction. And yet the guy works at Internet.com? LOL
