"Hands on a Hard Body" is about this car dealership in Longview Tx that has a contest every year to give away a truck. The contest consists of people who are drawn from a pool of names. They must keep one hand on the truck at all times. Must stand up. NO smoking, drinking, eating except during breaks. Must wear a glove. Must not lean on the vehicle. 5 minute break every hour...15 minute break every 6 hours. The winner is the last one standing with a hand on the truck. By the 40th hour things begin to change. Good study on east Texas as well. Accents and priorities are on display. It is a fantastic study of human behavior. I highly recommend it. It's shot camcorder style. This is not scripted..no actors. It's really really good. Go rent it!!! EVERYONE!!! DO IT!! It's uplifting, sad, heroic, funny, and really speaks to everyone IMO.
