So Laurel (Bidding on Bay Street) likes Samsys. Here is how some of her previous picks turned out.
Abacus Software (ABT) - bankrupt and de-listed by the ASE
EHRC (OTC-BB) - after going up to $3-5 range, now worth pennies. Remember all the irons it had in the fire and how it would make money in so many ways? Remember management inviting her to the big dinner with the President of that African country? Message 10947568
Newstar (NER/T): trading suspended by TSE at $0.17 after trading up to $5 and above. Remember the incredible promise of the Cotton Valley holding? Message 10536207
Sharpe Resources (SHO/M): now reduced to $0.18, including its holdings of Royal Standard Metals Message 8044591 Message 6589132
Royal Standard Metals (RSM/T) - $0.06
Goran Capital (GNC/T) - $3.75, down from $40.00+ Message 10963915
Major Drilling (MDI/T): $5.00, down from $30.00+
Innomat Solutions (INAT/CDN) - bankrupt, no longer trading Message 6009739
Adamas, etc. etc.
Like Samsys, they all had great stories and promise but somehow the reality has been somewhat different, as you yourself reflected in Message 11361949
In case you haven't checked recently, the value of your ERHC shares has now slipped to $.01 each, if not totally worthless.
We all make mistakes in our investments but frankly reg, after trashing your own RRSP and your wife's RRSP Message 5965246 and then even going into debt due to BBS' picks, the simple question is this - - - why on earth would you willingly continue to tout Laurel's stock-picking ability to people on this thread ?????
Notes - some of the above are based on fuzzy recollections so if there are inaccuracies, hopefuly someone will point out any errors of fact. BBS has had success with Bid.com and there may be others. I have no position in Samsys, nor will I ever have, but I continue to be curious as to how this one will play out. |
