IRA accounts are cash accounts. Stocks held in them should not be available for loaning to shorters.

You cannot use margin in an IRA account. You cannot hold solid assets (gold and silver). I'm not sure about the trading of derivatives, ie. options, warrants, etc.

Don't worry about your shares contributing to "the shorters", unless you hold over five million shares, in which case you would not be asking this question.
