the little guys don't really matter and their amount of shares don't do any damage by calling in the certs

big run:

The little guys certainly do matter. there are a ton of little guys -- its accumulative.

There seems to be some confusion about this subject and I thought I made it very simple. So I will state it again.

If you are a long investor you can deter shorts by instructing your broker to not allow your inventory of equities to be lent out.

I would highly recommend that all longs practice this direction.

Simply phone your broker or better still write them a note stating that you forbid having your equities loaned out under any circumstances

Your Broker MUST COMPLY and follow your direction.

This applies regardless of how many shares you have or what type of account it's in -- Period.
