This has been an incredibly interesting weekend of fascinating post topics. For someone just coming aboard, it would not look like the thread header at all, but this retirement early stuff is what the dream is made of. I'm retired as well, by no means to the advantage that many of you are speaking, but I'm headed that way, and making more than suitable progress. Just a few years ago we wouldn't have dreamed of discussing this with strangers, but here, it's not every man for himself. Remember the patient technical discussion of row-locking last weekend...how refreshing! During the week we built a system to broaden and organize our collective heads, and dedicated lurkers came out of the woodwork to participate. One of us found a way to unlock the treasures in our past posts. Those are "sticky" attributes. Lindy is pulling us all together in San Diego. That's gotta be a "first" for any SI thread. I have much to celebrate...all of us do. This post may be a mite "gushy" for some, but so what. This is how I feel.
