Nice strategy and quite close to mine down the road with the difference that,I can't afford to retire, because my newly wed wife does not work. I am really keen on having her finish college,because no one knows what the future holds and there is no substitute for education.Your conservative approach on investing is very sound and realistic.I did not take any of the facilities that one can use to withdraw from my brokerage account.Basically, I look at my stock holdings as untouchable for the next 5 to 7 years and my work covers all the expenses.Expects to me around here for some years to come.
