Perhaps someone can help me. I am new to version 4.2 of TC2000, having used the DOS version of the program for several years.

How does 4.2 save downloaded data? I presume it is saved to the hard disk and the CD-Rom serves only to provide programs and formulas for the retrieval, manipulation and display of the data?

Also, is it required to back up your downloaded data on a regular basis as the old version required?

Finally, does one receive a new CD update on a regular basis?

Thanks for your help
