John, I can be quantitative with my answer, and I am not a hardware engineer, but I do have enough exposure the the subject to say that the application of memory in data networking of any flavor (IP/ATM/SONET) is very high, limited by the capacities available, cost, and speed of that memory. RMBS has a major role to play here, imo.
