Yup. I take an SUV myself. Awhile back some guy sent me an article wherein the Attorney General of Maryland flatly stated his goal of banning all civilian owned handguns in his state. If he is successful, it will be only a matter of time before this sort of thing spreads to other states. Of course it will do nothing against the criminal element, which in many cases will perhaps resort to the use of modified long weapons. So eventually the state will whittle away civilian gun ownership rights until they exist only on the books. What to do? I think your idea for using a silencer doesn't sound too funny after all.
