Harmons Pick Validated by: Mc Kinsey Company ( Large Consulting Firm )gives presentations to large
organizations executive management. They are talking about the new economy in ways that will shake up everyone.

It is their opinion that Interaction Costs are about 50 % of the total economy.

The Largest organizations GM, Ford, GE etc the truly large industrial players maintain huge amounts of their corporate infrastructure on Mainframes. AS 400 being the most prevalent.

It is these applications that are most impacted by Tarantella, they represent the biggest cost
savings going forward. B2B over the net is hot, everyone already agrees, but it is becoming increasingly clear that the Interaction costs are being targeted as the way these mega corps will take costs out of their operations.

Tarantella may be the critical application to achieve this objective. IMO People are focused on the Linux and other aspects of the technology sphere.
It is more important to focus and identify which applications are to be effected, and the reasons why the actual SW will be impacting these companies in the new economy.

To see Tarantalla as the link between the AS400 and the cost savings in B2B applications is the first step to understanding the scale of SCOC's opportunity.

It is a very bright picture from where I sit.
