Oh how I agree! However the cleaning out of the OTCs is going to help since very very few of the ones that delist come back.
IMO, DD will be easier and more reliable as well as remove some of the wind out of the sails of those whose seemingly sole purpose is to agitate- otherwise known as the Basher, often, without a shred of evidence for support, using innuendo to question a company's financial viability and to then erroneously make their claim of malfeasance, mis-management, or dereliction of said company based on that innuendo, whether it be for ego massage or financial gain (ie., shorting). IMHO, this is the one big draw-back of Raging Bull. Way too many aliases with, as you like to say Gary, "hidden agendas".
In any event, with fully reporting companies only on the OTC, I suspect that each individual company will receive more share-holder "attention" as share-holders are forced into the ever shrinking pool of available (reporting) companies hopefully creating increased activity and trading opportunities that the company might not have experienced prior to the sweeping out of non-reporting companies. I know it won't solve all the problems, but, I am looking forward to the "NEW" OTC...:) Theo;-) |
