Orhan, I didn't say I thought Fed would raise, just what I have been hearing. Something interesting I stumbled upon while doing historical research on the economy: Nixon placed wage and price controls (after declaring national emergency) in 1974 with an astronomical inflation rate of 4%!!! Aren't we in the 3% range now? Of course OPEC had a great deal to do with the CPI going sky-high back then. That's back when interest rates were in the 17-18% range. I hope the Fed doesn't raise rates again, but then again I am preparing by keeping some cash on hand to buy when the market falls. It's going to be a rocky year I am afraid.
