The information is on this board, if you go back far enough. In short, management was unable to deliver on their promises (see the introductory post for the board), and in the interim, resorted to massive stock dilution in order to continue funding research. Along the way, there were also several moves made which led nearly everyone to lose faith in management's ability and intentions.

Though reading through all those posts would be laborious, it would also be enlightening, with the benefit of hindsight, to see the characteristics of those whose posts turned out to be accurate (lots of facts from financial statements - John Harris - and from competitor's status - me and others), and those whose posts turned out to be wrong (lots of unsubstantiated trust in management pronouncements).
