Like maybe Lycos' purchase of Quote.com? I agree that some of these investments are really hidden gems. Hard to say if they're gems, often, since many are so early-stage. Microsoft buys Listbot CMGI buys Yesmail ... and there are 1,000 other examples of value lurking in big companies. What in your view made Commtouch a good investment?
