Rude, I saw the same readiness page with the 4 product lines which did not include Precision. And, distinguishing which are ready and which are not is a bit confusing. According to the site, all systems purchased today, last month etc. are ready for the OS. The question is which systems will come pre-installed with the OS first from the factory... we can assume it's Opti and Dimension.

But if you look at the readiness advisor..
support.dell.com
and select Precision 420 for instance, it says all you need to do is download the latest BIOS and drivers and you're ready to roll. Same with Inspiron etc.

Update to that paragraph. Apparently you're right rude.
The BIOS update on second look does not seem available yet.

This suggests to me that the hardware is already compliant,
the BIOS's have been updated and drivers available
for migration purposes. If that's the case, logically, Dell
should be able to ship any of these platforms pre-installed
as soon as the OS is ready.

Not my are of expertise however. But, I personally would not get terribly excited about having 1 week within the Q
to ship the new OS. It takes a little time to ramp so I
wouldn't expect to see an impact on Q4 numbers.
