gc: Just back to the threads after a few days off and I want to let you in on something in case you didn't understand my post from a few days ago. I AIN'T selling. I'm a LTB&H investor when it comes to QCOM. If you want to buy at these levels, go right ahead - you will make money in the long run and that is what I'm interested in - not this day to day trading casino mentality that has overtaken the market. I hope QCOM runs 40 points this week - will it - I haven't the faintest idea. Will I get wealthier as years pass holding my position in QCOM - you bet I will. I see QCOM easily taking out the highs this year, but I have no plans to add to my position. I've got enough of it - thank you Dr. J. When you said I'm buying at these levels and I'm not selling - did you interpret my post to be that I'm selling. I hope not. I'm a unfazed bull on QCOM. I don't give a damn if it goes to $90/share. I'm looking 5-10 years out. Do I want to be a member of the 100% club putting all my eggs in the QCOM basket - absolutely NOT!! I hold other stocks that I believe have great potential as well.

Now as far as 100 point up and down moves in the Naz as an everyday occurrence - I believe we are entering unchartered territory. Is this the "new paradigm?" Is this froth? Is this an intermediate topping action? Is this a sign of distribution? I have no clue. I just don't like the way the market is trading now. For those who disagree with me - so be it - you're all entitled to your opinions. You think I make my investment/trading decisions based on what anyone is saying here or on any other thread. NOPE!!!! I base my decisions, like everyone should, on my own convictions, and I live with the consequences, good or bad. MM told me to relax. Geez - I've been retired for the last 3 years - how more relaxed can you get. If I had MM's amount of shares, I'd be on a beach in the South Seas somewhere sipping a daiquiri - now that's relaxed.

So I wish everyone would take a little more time to read and interpret posts before coming to an incorrect conclusion and on top of that, take each post with a grain of salt. Because that's what each post is - just a grain of salt.

Have a great day everyone. "Q rocks, just a matter of time" - I love you Spudman - had to take your sign-off for this post only. Thanks Milehigh for coming to my defense. Going back to relaxing by my poolside - sipping on another martini.
