Sorry I did not respond to your latest inquiry, I decided to respond on the thread instead.

For the record, Frank Foos alerted me to his theory that shorts were extremely active in WIND, and we were communicating about what data might be available to tie this down, and what it would take to turn all this around - not just for WIND but the whole software sector. Frank was questioning wondering whether we the H&Q Tech Show will be sufficient to cause a reversal.

Then, out of the blue, a trader friend of mine informed me of news reports of shorts attacking momentum funds, specifically including Pilgrim-Baxter's PBHG fund. Hence the post last night on the short attack.

This statement shows you understand the basis of stock valuation. We might argue details, like counting angels on the head of a pin, but your ball park assessment is correct.
