Steve, <thanks to FactFirst on the yahoo thread :o) search.hp.com. Should be 2 hits on the HP 8662C Athlon 550 support... Stay Tuned!> Thanks for the headsup to you (and FactFirst). The dates on the document are January 14th/15th - this looks good. But I am somewhat puzzled why HP is starting with 550 when Gateway and Compaq are pretty much going with 600MHz for their entry level systems. Chuck
