No ish - first off, it is usually ONE salary with stock options max. So combined, say 125K/year and 200-400K stock options once per 4 years, if they are lucky.

Their tax rates are close to 50%.

There are no 300K houses around where the workers I talk about are working. The average house is 600K.

Now, just from looking at the valuation of these houses I think its obvious what happened here. The people who bought these 30 years ago got a HUGE windfall. My age group has to pay to live here because we work here.
