Xerxes,

Reading the latest issue of Fortune and they had an article on Motorola. It said that the new Chairman was starting a new division and going to make a major push into smart cards (more than just for commerce). Maybe this is one of the reasons VFI decided to get with a bigger partner.

I have been just a lurker here and have enjoyed your comments and info.
