Hello, I'm new to this thread, although I've lurked 90% of the previous messages.
I've spent the day investigating new realtime feed options. I currently use PC Quote 6.0, and although I am generally satisfied with the product, I was informed today that they would charge me an extra $220/mo on top of my current $280/mo for a TradeStation 2000i-compatible feed. (If anybody is interested, I can provide an evaluation for the thread.)
I use the CSW ticker as a backup, but it's fairly primitive. I tried QCharts, but the Canadian data is worthless.
I'm currently looking at eSignal, an Internet feed. They also provide OK charting software with it. The feed has a nasty 1000 symbol limit (at any one time). It's compatible with MetaStock Pro and TradeStation/RadarStation 2000i. [Hmmm... wonder how the 1000 symbol limit works with scanning in these products? Grmmph.]
Question: Anybody have an informed opinion on eSignal?
PS: How frustrating to see what's available for the American markets. It's doubly frustrating when you know the software is all there and all they need do is provide Canadian data. I've only been hardcore learning/trading for a year or so, but I've looked at lots of it. I ran across a new one today, bigeasyinvestor.com. It's free for now. It's far more powerful then anything we have in Canada right now, scanning on price action, technical setups, etc., even come candle formations. I've sent them email to ask about the GW North. We'll see...
Thanks. --Allan |
