That's not the point... I'm just reading from the certification list - can you give me a URL which shows the PowerEdge 2300 is on the list?? Is it even a current DELL product? I could only find the 2400 and DELL does not claim that the 2400 is Windows 2000 certified, they say
"At this time, we are working closely with Microsoft to develop as many migration paths as we feel are in line with Dell's current support policies and Microsoft's development abilities. We do not have this information finalized yet, but as soon as we do, it will be available here. "

I have a DEC HiNote laptop which is almost 3 years old. It is not only not on the list but DEC doesn't even exist any more. That laptop runs Win2K just fine. MSFT told me it would run just fine. They also said don't call if I have any problems...

This is not a question of whether the products will run Windows 2000 but whether they are certified and therefore eligible for support under a platinum service contract.
