FWIW, I've been running the following configuration for the past 4+ months:

Mtech R534
Cyrix 6x86L-200+
32MB SDRAM, 12ns (2x16)
Matrox Millenium, 4MB WRAM
IBM Deskstar 3.24 GB
Mitsumi 12x CD-ROM

It's a winner. Absolutely no complaints with anything (i.e., exceeds expectations). The latest BIOS from Mtech (K_7) supports the Deskstar in PIO mode 4. The system hasn't burped even once from anything I've thrown at it in DOS, Win3.1, Win95, OS/2 v4. Note: The R534 uses a SIS chipset (as in non-Intel).

An M2 should drop right in, but I'm really satisified with its performance with the 200+.
