Personally I believe DDR at 266Mhz and above simply won't work with any acceptable degree of reliability in a PC architecture. One cannot just pretend that impedance, geometry, and termination do not matter at these frequencies.

Rambus seems to be the only proposed scheme which honestly acknowledges and properly solves these issues.
