Switchboard and Intuit Partner to Extend Site Builder Program
Switchboard To Add Small Business Web Sites to Its Local Merchant Network
WESTBORO, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 18, 2000--Switchboard Incorporated, the popular Internet directory subsidiary of Banyan Worldwide (NASDAQ:BNYN - news), and Intuit Inc., the leader in e-finance (NASDAQ:INTU - news), today announced a strategic relationship that will add Intuit's Site Builder web sites to Switchboard's local merchant network.
Terms of the relationship also call for Switchboard to provide additional content and services to Site Builder customers in the future.
Switchboard will promote each site on its award-winning CBS Switchboard.com Internet property through integrated links within the Switchboard© Yellow Pages, offering added services like What's Nearbysm, which helps users find additional merchants in an area where they are looking, as well as maps and driving directions to consumers looking for Site Builder businesses.
