Tuesday January 18, 9:37 am Eastern Time Fed says adds reserves via overnight system repos NEW YORK, Jan 18 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve said it added temporary reserves to the banking system on Tuesday via overnight system purchase agreements. At the time of the operation, federal funds were trading at 5-13/16 percent, according to Garban-Intercapital, above the Fed's 5-1/2 percent target for the rate.
