Just checking in. WOW! look at those stock prices go! Noticed that some folks "took profits" early last week and advised others to do the same. Ouch! It must hurt to take profits and then watch the stock prices run away to the upside. Glad I'm not trading, although I did buy some FGH last week on a limit order. Probably dead money for awhile, but it was just sitting around anyways.

Fadel Gheit should be feeling pretty foolish right about now regarding his recent poo-pooing about oil prices. He is about one year behind Charles Maxwell in his thinking, which makes him about 18 months behind the market.

For those of you discussing Global Warming, there is an excellent article in the August 99 issue of Popular Science (finally catching up on my reading). I have been looking into this, and have discovered that the folks who think Global Warming is a myth either have their heads in the sand or up their... This is most definitely real. All that can be legitimately contested is the cause, and that is becoming clearer every day.

It's COLD here - finally. Can smell the half burned hydrocarbons gushing from the trucks and SUV's at every intersection.
