Joel, I have been following the CSCO thread for quite some time and I deeply respect your posts...so far you have been very accurate. I believe that the word on the street is that CSCO will miss badly.

But,

1. wouldn't CSCO have come out by now and publicaly stated that earnings would fall sig. short of expectations?

2. If the word on the street is that strong, doesn't CSCO's price already reflect those concerns?

Chambers was on NBR about a week ago and he said that there could be quarters of zero or no growth in earnings...could that have been CSCO's warning?

I plan to hold CSCO for the long term, but I'm still concerned. Mabye I just won't look at CSCO's price for the next year.
