PB - Re: "Article on how IBM Netfinity (Xeon Based) Server Division is making a comeback." IBM has been doing a FULL COURT PRESS on PRESS RELEASES over the past week - describing their PATENT PORTFOLIO, new venture capital funds (DUH !!!! - only 5 years behind Intel !!), LINUX support, etc., etc. My guess is they are doing this to pump up enthusiasm for the company BEFORE their earnings report - which is Today or tomorrow. My guess is that report is NOT GOING TO BE PRETTY - but IBM will have already planted the "seeds" of optimism into investors, journalists, etc., in an attempt to deflect from their poor quarterly performance. Baffle them with B.S., says Lou Gerstner ! Paul
