Re: Chinese are also blocking. If you look under the "Kosovo Peacekeeping" section under Yahoo news, the Russians, Chinese, and Iraqis are objecting. The Russians want money. The Chinese want to export more to the US.

And the only bargaining chip these would-be challengers to the US have is the nomination of some obscure second fiddle in a UN mission to Iraq?? Well, I guess that really shows us the magnitude of American hegemony today..... After all, what's more vital to China? The citizenship of some UN inspector in Iraq or access to the world's largest outlet, ie the USA? BTW, China has already scored its acceptance in the WTO.

Besides Russia and China there is France.... so, what do the French want?
