Straightlife, I know how you feel. The rewards, however, are tremendous if your DD is accurate when the market is wrong. I had a position probably comparable to my current position in VISX, significant but not huge, in MRVC when it got clobbered on 8/31/98. I remember the date well because it is my birthday and my net worth dropped about $40K on that drop. It traded as low as $5 and stayed in a $6-9 range for many months while the DD of the people on the MRVC thread on SI convinced us that this company had great prospects relative to the price. Many of us loaded up in the $5 1/2-7 1/2 range and are very happy today!

If VISX does drop into the 30's I'll probably load up. LVCI is in the same misunderstood situation. I couldn't resist loading up when it got below $10. Got my brother and daughter in it then too. I doubt they will be disappointed.
Best regards,
Bob
