Looking at the SPLI website: spectra-physics.com Visit Us At Photonics West 2000 San Jose, CA January 25-27 Booth #542 SPLI is hot, but not as hot as OPTX with a price to sales of 50+! At least SPLI has a P/S of 1/10th that of OPTX. Of course THI has a P/S of 0.78 and a P/E of less than 20. I guess THI is the value investor's way of buying a hot opto play <gg>. However, there may not be any value investors left?!? Where are you Mr. Buffett?? JF
