Caxton, Toast.Com actually has a really good performance tool for measuring the speed of your internet connection. I use it to test out my cable modem, which usually shows in the 1MB/sec to 4Mb/sec range. This added speed allows me to spend more time researching all of IDC's important patents. Cooters
