At this end, while my kids still go out wearing what would cause my blood to coagulate in 20 seconds, I put on sufficient layers that I look like the Michelin Man.
Jokes aside, I must admit that I actually enjoy the Winters,....now that I do not have to regularly commute into Toronto. Canadian drivers are fairly disciplined (except in Calgary, Edmonton and above all else Montreal,.....Franco, please note the gentle tease here), but on the multi lane freeways up here, the heavy traffic will slow all of 5 MPH (from the normal 70-75 mph) even when the roads are covered with glare ice (coefficient of friction- zero, stopping distance - infinity). So long as no one gets into a skid, or slows, it works (far safer flying my homebuilt airplane). (g)
