Vince, re: A call to HP online store at 1-888-999-4747 inquiring when I might purchase an Athlon system from them elicited this response: "We have them for sale now at Sam's Club, and we hope to have them here online by February." This (Sam's) was rumoured yesterday on amdzone.com. Talk about your stealth launches! Thanks for the nice DD. It looks like they started selling systems prior to any announcement - just like the K6-500s that were spotted by Pravin before HP's actual announcement. Now the question for those of us playing the game: Do the Street money men already know? They probably don't shop at Sam's. It's possible, but I doubt it. Last time when we revealed Athlon reference material on the Gateway web site, I thought it was picked up by the street. Everyone who will be brave enough to hold a significant unhedged option position into the CC please raise your hand, I like to make a tally. I bought some AMD stock and options today(unhedged) and I won't be selling any before the AMD CC. Regards, Goutama
