But Heinz, the open interest figures are off by 50 or 100%, depending on how you want to view it, on the CBOE; who knows about other exchanges. One reason I tossed off that max-pain theory as worthless in practice. I even advised the guy that claims to have discovered the term of what I had heard. He hasn't responded and it has been quite awhile. Guess that is why he is in education. -g-

Short story is that they (CBOE) are happy they can put out good bid/ask prices, forget OI and since NO one is complaining about OI ......
