I guess the point that caught my eye about NAS is that they are more reliable than SANs. Are you suggesting that EMC purchased Clariion to replace the Connectrix business, rather than to complement it? My understanding was that EMC's SAN offering was their premium offering, stressing uptime and reliability, and that they bought the NAS business to gain market share on the low end of the storage market.

Does the market view NTAP as superior in reliability to EMC, or that NTAP is good enough, ala Inventor's Dilemma?
