Mr. Perlegos received the award based on his outstanding contributions to the field of engineering in all of the following categories: professional achievement, service to the profession and service to society. This award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to the engineering profession. The award is sponsored by San Jose State University's College of Engineering.
