Sorry I was long to respond.. Been so busy and didn't have much time to do much research on Theragenics. I was pretty angry a couple weeks ago because here we have the biotech sector flying and TGX is ignored. So I called investor relations and told them that I was frustrated that there is so little news with the company. I know they are progressing but I think they have led investors in the dark this last year. Anyway after talking I felt better about it all. Here are some points I was told.

It's hard to get analysts to put out buy ratings when you don't go for funding. They don't need money and so that's many times how it goes with the brokerage industry. Most of these brokerages are what funds follow etc. Hence, The stock gets ignored.

Good news that make me feel we may be over the worse is:

TGX should be announcing other applications with seeds this year. There may be a possibility to get fast track approval for any condition they treat with seeds that is already being treated today by other methods. They would not give me any details and are pretty quiet about it, but that I think we should hear something soon.

TGX feels comfortable with 30% + growth going forward which I think he's being conservative. They see little impact of any competitor and it's more a question of taking better steps to get the options out there vs. surgery which is more what is the battle. These old guys like doctors that use knives etc..

They have a new PR firm that is working on making better relations with investors and the brokerage industry. They think it will make a difference this year.

That's all I got but I at least became less frustrated after the call. Anyway thanks for the info on the competitors.
