So I'm cheap. So what! In any case I have it on pretty good authority that this is all a moot point. Would guess that Datek will have level 1 autoquote capability in less than 2-3 weeks. Served by a different set of servers. While the recent quote problems are ultimately Datek's, it is my understanding that there have been external causes such as line problems to NASDAQ. I'll stay cheap and see what Peter, Alex, and Jon have to offer a month from now. If that isn't good enough then I will make you happy and quit pushing my quote button. As for Datek's overall problem of server reliability and speed, try adding a couple of thousand new customers to your site, ones that make 30 - 100 accesses a day and see what kind of responses your site can make. My moving my source of quotes will do very little to help you out Jon, there would be littereally hundreds taking my place tomorrow. Expect good things from Datek. They really do try to meet our needs.
