Venezuela's PDVSA declares force majeure on gasoline exports

"Venezuela state oil firm PDVSA declared force majeur for an unspecified period on its exports of gasoline from the Paraguana peninsula, where the company's 2 export refineries are located. The move comes after PDVSA shut a gasoline-producing unit at is Amuay refinery while a similar unit at the Cardon plant was being restarted after a 2-month shutdownú."

The next bullet press release said:

"Mechanical problems have forced Venezuela's state oil company to shut the 110,000-bpd catalytic cracker at its 635,000 Amuay refinery, sources at the facility said. The unit is completely shut and will not be returned to service for 15-20 days."

Edit: Here is a confirmation of this story.
