Rick, read that ESAF PR carefully:

The first segment references it as a standard "Multi-Biometric Authentication Method." It doesn't read to me as if multi-biometrics are standard, but an option. If you pick that option, the ESAF software is included. The second excerpt just says that "components of the SAF module will be included as standard features." For all I know, the components that are standard are IDX core biometrics.

The ESAF piece was written more carefully than the IDX PR, but nowhere do I read it to mean that Novell has standardized on ESAF multi-biometrics as the basic biometric application package.
