IONA , Portal Software in deal DUBLIN, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Irish-based software company IONA Technologies Plc (NasdaqNM:IONA - news) said on Wednesday it had signed a product deal with U.S. business infrastructure software group Portal Software Inc. (NasdaqNM:PRSF - news). Under the agreement, Portal will use IONA's iPortal Suite software, which enables integration of software from desktop to server, IONA said. The software will be used to power Portal's Infranet products, which allow real-time management of Internet and communication services, IONA said. IONA, listed on the U.S. Nasdaq exchange and the Irish bourse, gave no financial details.
