Jon Matz, I believe " the assets that off set these " promissory notes " are supposed to be inside Fort Knox I believe in the form of gold bullion. I must admit however that I have never been there to actually be able to confirm this personally, nor do I know anybody else who has, and also I am unable to find a link as to the exact amount of gold in there. I suppose the dictum then is " in Government we trust ", ( unless somebody on this thread can assist us: Lucretius Taurus ? ). Do citizens know or even care that governments print money at will, without even educating citizens that it is the primary cause of inflation. It is an immoral form of taxation.
