Steve, a friend of mine just returned from the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (cycling clinic). He told me that the athletes are now required to have their hands scanned upon arrival, upon which they are issued a smart card (any Atmel chips here<g>). They must then present their card and have their hand scanned every time they go into the dining hall. I realize this is pretty basic technology for security systems when compared to military stuff, but it is a bit frightening that it is getting so close to civilian life. How do you think the "mark of the beast" will be implemented when that time comes?

Regards,
cj
