tero: As you probably know very well, HDR will be installed first in Korea, then Japan. Hatachi has committed to manufacture the infrastructure necessary. Others will follow as this year progresses.

Of course, you are right that commercial sale of Nokia handsets incorporating HDR requires that it be practical. But planning ahead and testing is necessary for at least 6 months in advance, no?

So I was just curious if you thought that Nokia might be ahead of the game on this - might be worthwhile.

Also, as I understand HDR it is actually agnostic in its use. It can be used with the installed GSM and/or TDMA base as well as with the installed CDMA base.

It is just data. And therefore an efficient choice where possible.

Just an idea for you, since you seem receptive to possible new approaches.

Best.

Chaz

PS Have you had a chance to look at Crusoe enough to have a preliminary view of it and its possible relevance to Nokia's handhelds?
