I am unclear at the street's concerns over the income generated from investment sources. Does it matter where the earnings come from? <Slightly OT> I am a big MSFT fan, and will continue to give Mr. Gates my investment $$ to invest for me. I have found it interesting as MSFT has grown that its investment portfolio of developing companies has become so large and diverse. I have no doubt that MSFT has opportunities for new and exciting investments that an individual such as myself would never see. The interesting thing, is that MSFT is the technology-holding answer to Warren Buffet's investment strategy of the 80s and 90s. Kind of rambling here..... sorry. Jack
