To put it mildly, we will be hearing about RDRAM/RMBS for quite a while to come. I read somewhere that Rambus patents may in fact cover PC100/PC133 which may be a very dubious claim but gives an idea how RMBS has been planning for a long while on ways to exploit the outdated patent laws with its business model.
